Research Interests:
Dr. Tendler pursues research in primary hyperparathyroidism and thyroid carcinoma. She is the principle investigator in the study of calcimimetics a compound used to treat hyperparathyroidism.

Biography:
Dr. Tendler received her medical degree from the Central University in Venezuela. She did her residency training at the Michael Reese Hospital and Medical Center in Chicago, IL. Dr. Tendler completed her fellowship training at the University of Illinois and the University of Connecticut School of Medicine.

Interest Statement:
Dr. Tendler has an interest in tumors of the endocrine glands and provides care to patients with these unusual disorders through the Endocrine Neoplasia Program.
