Biography:
Dr. Bona received his medical degree from State University of New York –
Upstate Medical College. He did his internship and residency training in
Internal Medicine at Brown University/Rhode Island Hospital and completed
his fellowship in hematology/oncology at the University of Connecticut
School of Medicine. He also has training from the Thrombosis Center at
McMaster University Hospital in Hamilton, Ontario.
Interest Statement:
Dr. Bona’s interests are primarily in the areas of thrombosis and cancer,
bleeding disorders, and acquired and congenital disorders leading to or
predisposing towards thrombosis.
