The UConn Difference: Remarkable Care
Through Research and Education
Through its affiliation with the UConn School of
Medicine, the Neag Comprehensive Cancer Center has
attracted a cadre of leaders in cancer research who work closely with our physicians, surgeons and cancer specialists
to improve cancer care. Indeed, UConn has one of
the leading cancer research programs in New England.
This means our patients have access to a range of
breakthrough clinical trials and research studies, including
several studies that started with pioneering research
initiatives at UConn, such as cancer vaccine therapies
for several cancers, including kidney cancer, melanoma
and leukemia. Compassionate care, promising research and state-of-the-art treatments: it’s
all
here at the Neag Comprehensive Cancer Center, Connecticut’s Answer to
Cancer.
