Effects on Bone
IRB #01-227: Bone Turnover in Prostate Cancer:
Evaluating bone health
in men under treatment for prostate cancer.
IRB #02-062: This study will evaluate the effect on bone
health of androgen deprivation therapy (injections of
medications such as luprolide or goserelin) used in the
treatment of locally advanced prostate cancer.

#04-142: Study seeking volunteers with early stage
breast cancer who have completed 5 years of Tamoxifen
therapy and are being started on Letrozole (Femara®) by
their oncologist, to evaluate effects on sex hormones,
risk of osteoporosis and blood pressure.
