Title: NSABP C08: Clinical Trial Comparing Infusional 5-FU, Leucovorin, and Oxaliplatin (mFOLFOX6) Every Two Weeks With Bevacizumab to the Same Regimen Without Bevacizumab for the Treatment of Patients With Resected Stages II And III Carcinoma of the Colon

Description: This phase III study will evaluate the relative efficacy of infusional 5-fluorouracil (5-FU), leucovorin (LV), and oxaliplatin (mFOLFOX6) alone or the same chemotherapy regimen plus bevacizumab in patients with resected stages II and III carcinoma of the colon. The primary goal of the study is to determine whether disease-free survival (DFS) can be improved by the addition of bevacizumab to oxaliplatin. Other goals are to compare the relative efficacy of the two regimens in prolonging survival and to evaluate adverse events related to bevacizumab.

Length/Duration: Treatment 6 months, follow-up 5 years
